Ingredients:

  •  4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each), skin-on or skinless 

  • 4 cloves garlic, 

  • minced
    Zest of 1 lemon
    Juice of 1 lemon 

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter 
     
    2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  •  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  •  In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, melted butter, chopped parsley (if using), salt, and black pepper.

  • Mix until well combined. 

  • Spoon or brush the lemon-garlic mixture generously over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  • If desired, place a few lemon slices on top of each fillet for added flavor and presentation.

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork and reaches your preferred level of doneness. 

  • Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

 Serve the lemon and garlic baked salmon hot.
