Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each), skin-on or skinless

4 cloves garlic,

minced
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons olive oil
-
2 tablespoons melted butter2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, melted butter, chopped parsley (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Mix until well combined.

Spoon or brush the lemon-garlic mixture generously over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are evenly coated.

If desired, place a few lemon slices on top of each fillet for added flavor and presentation.

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork and reaches your preferred level of doneness.

Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Garnish with additional chopped parsley and lemon slices if desired.
Serve the lemon and garlic baked salmon hot.
